WHO AM I   

I am a worm kissing, mullein collecting, and dewberry picking human. My people are from the Northern Neck region of Virginia. I currently reside and farm on traditional Cherokee, Catawba and Congraree land now known as Northeast Columbia. Growing food and working with soil has brought me closer to my ancestors and a deeper understanding of what I want to do with this life. Constantly I am learning, reading, experimenting and making mistakes at this craft. What I love most is the real moments of the often glorified and misrepresented parts of farming like a crop failure, seeds breaking ground, and rainy work days.I am more than a farmer. I am a lover of cooking, animated shows, thoughtful books, rollerskating, and most of all rest.
